Welcome to Time Life’s new Retail web site “TimelifeEntertainment.com”. We hope to utilize this new site to share with you the great music and video we have available already as well as take the opportunity to tell you about some new and interesting upcoming projects. Some of these new projects represent new directions that time Life is traveling and we hope you find them as exciting as we do.

Time Life has always been about meticulously crafting great music and video products with a special focus on the great music compilations. We will proudly continue that tradition but also have a number of new types of releases.

We are currently hard at work on our next group of single artist box sets (titled Legemds Of American Music, all have 3 discs of career spanning songs, extended liner notes and rare photos) with The Stanley Brothers, Ike & Tina Turner and George Jones all scheduled for release within the next 6 months. I will talk a bit more about Ike & Tina and George Jones in my next note but let me take a minute here to talk about The Stanley Brothers.

The Stanley Brothers were a staple of bluegrass for nearly twenty years and this box set is the only career-encompassing collection of their music, from their earliest recording in 1947 to their final appearance in 1996. The set includes 60 songs, including three, never-before-released songs as well as two others that have never been released on CD. The release will be timed to broadly coincide with Ralph Stanley’s 80th birthday.

In addition to our box sets, we have also been working on the first Time Life new recording. This is a new studio album from Joan Osborne titled “Breakfast In Bed” which will be Ms. Osborne’s homage to the great ‘60s and ‘70s soul songs including a mixture of her interpretations of classics and some new material that faithfully measures up. This album will be released in April 2007 and will be accompanied by the full effort of Time Life including direct response TV, viral marketing, artist appearances, consumer advertising, radio promotion and positioning at all Retail stores. We are delighted to be working with Joan.
